@beachbody RevAbs with @bretthoebel: Final Results!

When life is busy, I have to admit that committing to 90 days of anything is difficult.  There are so many unexpected circumstances, but RevAbs has been my rock.  I have tried other exercise programs that left me feeling defeated from the start.  RevAbs gave me motivation with the challenge and results from start to finish.  If you are just now joining for my RevAbs journey, find the other posts here.  I have enjoyed the daily energy, strength, and motivation from RevAbs, so I am going to continue doing it.  Saturday at BlogHer I started my day at 6 am with bootcamp and yoga, both were challenging experiences.  Before doing RevAbs, I can't even imagine signing up for 1 of those activities let alone both back-to-back.  In bootcamp, I was able to lift heavier weights than I had in the past, actually do push-ups, lunges around the full length of a basketball court, and more exercises that I had considered myself too uncoordinated for in the past.  Yoga was intense especially after … [Read more...]

@Beachbody RevAbs w/ @Bretthoebel: Almost to the Finish Line!

Has it really almost been 90 days?  I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to tell you my results, but you have to wait! (see past posts here) I will be posting my final results after BlogHer.  It has been quite a journey getting my body back after 25 years of untreated Celiac disease and having 3 children.  I spent a lifetime unable to gain weight and weak from anemia & malnourishment.  Then, when gluten free, I went through the weight gain since by body was actually processing food.  At my height every pound seems to show.  However, feeling good is first & foremost when living a healthy lifestyle.  With that being said, I am not going to give any measurements or numbers this week.  However, I will say that I went clothes shopping last week.  I was pleasantly surprised that I had dropped more sizes than I thought.  By the way, thanks to the strength found during RevAbs, I am scheduled to do both a bootcamp & yoga class back-to-back at BlogHer.  RevAbs has helped me be … [Read more...]

RevAbs @beachbody Progress Report from Riviera Maya: Over Half way done!

Every year my husband and I take an adult vacation that revolves around us as a couple.  This year we decided to do something a bit more exotic, so we ventured to Riviera Maya!  With RevAbs I had quite a bit more confidence to show off my body (even in a bikini smaller than I would normally wear).  Surrounded by people of all ages on the sandy beach or in the pool, I felt great and knew my hardwork had paid off.  To see past progress reports, reviews, & giveaways to encourage healthy living click here Keep in mind while I am happy with my physical appearance results so far, I think our physical capabilities and how we view ourselves is just as important.  Having the strength (and coordination) to truly enjoy our trip was great.  We body surfed, hiked the Mayan ruins, and walked everywhere (no elevators for us!).  We tried our hardest to continue healthy eating while on vacation and worked out extra hard when we over-indulged. @beachbody RevAbs Progam (with Brett Hoebel from Biggest Loser): Week 3 Progress

Today marks 3 weeks since I began RevAbs.  The last few weeks have been rough staying focused not as a result of RevAbs, but life got hectic (stress, gluten contamination, etc...).  However, I have continued to remind myself that my body is not in the condition I would like it to be, because I always put others first.  The workout is still challenging, but thank goodness my body has adjusted to the work. Getting up really early was easy during the first week. As for the 2nd week, my husband had to shove me out of bed since my body hasn't been worked that hard in a while. It is hard challenging yourself especially when you would like instant validation that it is working. So the real question is...how is my progress at week 3? Beyond feeling stronger, RevAbs has helped me reach some plateaus that I had been unable to achieve on my own.
