YummyEarthHolidayGummies1

Holidays are not an exception to the healthy rule in our house. However, I don't think we have to miss out on the fun of holiday treats. As a gluten free and peanut free house, I am always looking for products that provide healthy and allergy friendly choices. Last Easter, I found out about YumEarth (To see the YumEarth Sour Beans Review click here) On to the Holiday Gummy Bears... YumEarth tastes much better than mass produced chemical candy because we choose real fruit extracts and planet friendly ingredients to sweeten our lives & yours. YumEarth. Good for us. Good for Mother Earth. "Santa" knows that we don't take a break for the holiday so he can provide Mom-approved stocking stuffers rather than the traditional candy options.  Reaction: With our middle son having Celiac Disease, I am a huge fan of individual packages since we have to provide him snack 5 days a week. Obviously, adding the convenience with the all natural factor, I am already pleased with the … [Read more...]

Stocking Stuffer idea: @colgatesmile Holiday Packs for Kids #CBias #HolidaySmiles

ColgateHolidayPackforkids18

Healthy living for us doesn't take a break for the holidays. Teaching our kids healthy habits is important and it should start in the beginning.  In the beginning, we are establishing a foundation for our children. Take for example our boys, they got really excited about getting toothbrushes when Trick or Treating and looked forward to donating their Halloween Candy to Soldiers overseas.I am sure some might find it odd how kids get excited about those things, but it's all they know and I am proud of that! I know that all the options can be over-whelming especially when you are trying to teach your kids to make healthy choices. Here's an example of the temptations at Walmart Every year rather than putting lots of candy and toys in their stockings that will end up lying around, we put in character-themed hygiene items such as toothbrush, bubble bath, etc... This year consider taking the time during Christmas to bring Holiday Smiles using Colgate HolidayPacks as Stocking Stuffers … [Read more...]

cwcregularlogo

Last minute holiday shopping is the worst! However, sometimes we have those people on our list that we just don't know what to get. I am a huge fan of subscriptions for variety. Introducing... I have to admit when shopping for wines I feel over-whelmed there are so many choices and I never know where to start. With California Wine Club, they take the time to select the wines and honor that with a 100% guarantee that assures you “never to get burned.” So what exactly does wine club package look like? You will find 2 bottles of wine safely tucked inside styrofoam packaging. Just remove the top to reveal the month's selection. Reaction: I would highly suggest California Wine Club as a holiday gift, hostess present for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years this season, etc.... While you could easily buy a questionable bottle off the shelf, I love the dedication put into to each month's selection of wines. The recipient will receive an edition of Uncorked each month that … [Read more...]

yellow

Welcome to Week 3 of the Color, Click, Capture photography challenge hosted by East9thStreet, A Helicopter Mom, Nap Time Is My Time and Sunshine and Sippy Cups. Every holiday I tell my husband to not get me anything, but he never listens. Whenever I think of yellow, flowers are the first thing that come to mind yet I was determined to come up with something unique.  Voila! I will give him credit that he gave me my muse for this week's photography challenge. I took picture after picture before I took a bite.  He gave me a gift that captures my love of art and chocolate!   This week’s photography tip is from Faith Massey.  Faith owns and operate Images by Faith Portrait Art, a boutique studio nestled in the Lake Norman area, just outside Charlotte, NC. Her passion for art started early and she explored many different mediums but found her true love in photography after having my first child in 1994. After moving from California in 2004 she opened her studio in … [Read more...]
