Take your workout to the next level part 1: Go Sport-It Core Sliders

I use to be in great shape. It’s not just weight but about how I feel. To me, working out is the ultimate stress reliever. At-home workouts can be effective whether money, time, or overall comfort level is your issue. I am going to be introducing you to 3 products from Go Sport-It to take your at-home workout to the next level! First up is the Go Sport-It Core Sliders!

Back in my glory days, I weighed 105 and was pretty ripped. For someone who considers herself unathletic, I was feeling on top of the world.

So what happened? I guess life happened. I lost a loved one. Then 3 months later, I injured my neck in a car wreck. I had to change the way I worked out after that until I was ready to push myself. While I didn’t get back to my top fitness level, I managed to keep my weight stable in the 120s. However something happened in my 30s, hormones and stress started wrecking havoc on my weight. Healthy eating and staying active have always been an important part of our lives. Then I broke my hand trail running. With a broken hand, I was set back again. Over the years, there have been moments when we feel like our efforts are pointless. I think that’s the point that I had reached. I was 150 pounds (technically considered overweight for my height) fighting borderline type 2 that runs in my family.

Since I have realized that my old ways are not going to help me lose weight. I am taking my nutrition and exercise to the next level. I am down 5 pounds. While that doesn’t sound like a lot, I have been floating between 148-155 for the past 2 years. For me, making it past that plateau has done wonders for my confidence in my efforts. I have been a runner since college. In my 30s, running just wasn’t enough to lose or even maintain my weight. I am realizing that I need more than cardio to get back on track.

I am using Go Sport-it to help me create an at-home strength training routine that uses my body weight to tone up. I can stream a tv show or movie while using Go Sport-it Core Sliders to take my mountain climbers and lunges to the next level.

Mountain climbers are one of my favorite hated exercises. However there is no denying how effective they can be. Go Sport-it core sliders make the leg transition seem effortless while in return making for a more efficient workout!     What a great way to get a workout at the house without having to spend a lot of money going to the gym. I like the fact that they seem easy to use and that I think they will make great Christmas gifts.

    I’m really bad about falling out of a workout routine since I travel so much. These core sliders seem easy to use and they’re super portable. I injured my neck in a car wreck too- it can definitely change your habits.

    I love running and doing some little work outs in the home but I will be honest I don’t do it often enough! This sounds like a really great idea, and seems like it would really take it to the next level!
