DIY Vanilla Mint Body Scrub

This year I will probably sound like a broken record. This is the year of taking care of ourselves. This is the year to pamper ourselves. I don’t know what your situation is but odds are likely you need some pampering. Do you have a hectic schedule these days? Try this DIY vanilla mint body scrub to pamper yourself in the comfort of your home.

Are you making more time for yourself?

I broke my hand in December. It has been quite a battle conquering not just the movement issues but the severe dry skin. This is a tame version of my hand in recovery. Cast hand took my winter skin issues to a whole new level!

What I love about DIY projects is that they use many items already found in the pantry! At-home pampering can save you time and money which most of us are short on these days. What are some of your favorite pantry items you keep on hand for DIY projects?

Ah, I’ve been looking at soooo many sugar scrub recipes that I’m absolutely dying to make one. I ADORE the smell of mint, and this recipe really seems like it’s geared toward moisturizing-which I need! Definitely giving this one a shot, thanks for sharing! <3

This DIY recipe looks so refreshing! I love making beauty DIY at home. I relax once a week with a face mask made with honey and oats. 🙂

Thank you for sharing the recipe for this body scrub. I have been making my own body scrubs for a couple months now but I haven’t tried this one yet. I will be making this next month. Love the smell of vanilla. So relaxing.

I try taking care of myself by just slowing down and enjoying the day. When I walk the dog, I make time to literally smell the roses. This scrub I bet is nice smelling and doesnt look tough to make.

This scrub sounds great! I have never made my own body scrub, but I have had body scrubs at the spa and they are amazing (especially if they rinse you off using a vichy shower).

I love using pampering beauty products, but I’ve never made any myself.

Sounds wonderful! Store bought scrubs can be pricey and many contain unhealthy ingredients. I’m pinning this one to try it out. Thanks!

Love the recipe. mint and vanilla is a good combination. I make a sugar scrub every now and then; I should make it more often.
