Over time our features change to give away our age. The whiteness of our smile is one of the obvious signs of our aging beauty. We go through a lot of coffee and tea in our household. Those drinks just happen to stain teeth even with regularly brushing and flossing. During my recent trip to Walmart, I picked up Colgate® Optic White® Express White to try to turn back time with my smile.  After looking through some past pictures, I noticed that I generally smile with a closed mouth. I have dealt with crooked and stained teeth for years. I guess subconsciously I have always tried to hard them. Join me on the journey to open-mouthed smiles, smoother lips, and a brighter smile!

Unlike most whitening toothpastes, Colgate® Optic White® Express White Toothpaste contains the professionally recommended ingredient hydrogen peroxide to whiten faster. This toothpaste provides an easy and fast way for whiter teeth fast. Whiter teeth in 3 days*, just by brushing. Less hassle than other methods.

  • There are 3 sizes available: 3oz & 4.5oz are now available, and the 1.45oz travel size will hit select stores on March 14th.

I decided to use one of the culprits of a dulling smile with a recycled mint tin to make a greener way to smooth lips. What is great about this lip scrub is that many of the other ingredients are generally found in most homes already. The trick to a good lip scrub is to use an abrasive ingredient like coffee grounds along with something to moisturize (honey &/or oil) for the foundation. Feel to free to substitute similar items you already have in the home!

After our morning coffee, I remove a tablspoon of coffee grounds to a plate before throwing the rest in my compost bin. I find it easier to mix the ingredients when the coffee grounds are still moist. Then, I allow all the ingredients to dry for several hours before placing in the mint tin.

Your lip scrub looks awesome. My lips are so dry from winter and they could really use some conditioning. And the teeth could use some whitening too!
