Labor Day is almost here! For most of us grilling and a day off come to mind when we think of Labor Day. However, there’s more to it than that. We need to remember the men and women who have fought for us! Bigelow Tea is All American: 100% American made by an American Family; an American Company for the American consumer. Available at an American Retailer – Walmart. Bigelow #AmericasTea seems like the perfect way to celebrate Labor Day!
Did you know that Bigelow Tea has a program for the Troops? Their Bigelow Tea Troops Program has sent almost 4 million bags of tea have been sent to troops overseas!
Last year I had the pleasure of visiting Charleston Tea Plantation: America’s only Tea Garden. Bigelow Tea Guests are invited to the Charleston Tea Plantation for weddings, tours and even a variety of music festivals. It’s a tea-riffic way to experience historic Southern culture and a living piece of American history!
Inspired by the Southern culture of the Charleston Tea Plantation and our current location in Little Rock that values Southern traditions like BBQ, I have created Bigelow Tea Rub Ribs….sweet tea to feed our soul!
Let’s get started making some ribs!
I like to make my brown sugar homemade for that extra molasses flavor. However, feel free to use the brown sugar you have on hand.
Then mix your brown sugar with Bigelow’s Earl Grey Tea
- rack of ribs
- 10 bags Bigelow Earl Grey Tea
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 TBSP molasses
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Mix sugar and molasses together with a fork until combined.
- Massage Tea Rub on ribs. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place ribs on grill meat side down. Grill for 30 minutes until cook (flipping every 15 mins).
- If you prefer sauce, please use brush to baste ribs with your choice of bbq sauce.
