Full Core as a healthy snack alternative: Lemon Lime Mojito Recipe too! #StopSnacking #cbias
I am frustrated. At 30, I am not in the best shape for me. This was me at my peak about a year and a half ago…
Below is a more recent picture. Today I could stand to lose about 15 pounds and tone back up.
`It’s not just about the weight loss, but about the confidence I feel when I am taking care of my body. You know that feeling when you look at a picture where you see the extra weight in your trouble areas that’s where I am at right now. Being petite, the extra weight shows. In the 1st picture, I could push myself beyond what I thought I was ever capable of!
However, since a car wreck last march leaving me with nerve damage, I am unable to workout like I use to. I have been forced to ease up on the intensity and I miss that! I am now doing more pilates and yoga rather than bootcamp intensity. I use to run and now it hurts to walk fast. However, we are planning on doing a 5k as a family! As far as my eating, I am used to making food homemade and sticking to fresh foods. I haven’t completely gone off track, but on bad days I fall prey to convenience foods. Convenience foods generally are not the best choice especially since finding completely gluten free options is difficult. With Celiac Disease, bloating is a big issue so having my digestive health in ultimate state is important so I’m not dragging as well and tired all the time. One day I will be back where I want to be physically until then I am continuing my healthy lifestyle and looking toward natural hunger control alternatives.
Akin’s is one of our local health foods stores that we shop at all the time. They have an awesome selection of gluten free and more. When I decided to take matters into my own hands, Akin’s seemed like the right place to look!
Options can be over-whelming when trying to pick. I always check to make sure it’s gluten free and check the sugar. Some of these hunger control options have too much sugar and unnatural ingredients.

I had never heard of Full Core until I saw it on the Cbias site, but I still didn’t know what it was. Now after reading your post I know what it is! Looks like something I will have to see if I can try out for myself! Loving the Mojoito!!

Best of luck with the Full Core products! You know, you still look fabulous (though we are often harder on ourselves than others…) and from having read your posts in the past I know you eat healthy foods… so you might be healthier inside, if not as toned as you hope to be. Anywhoo… best of luck and I can’t wait to hear how your family’s 5K goes.

I have been looking all over for this full core stuff in my area. I would love to give it a try, but no one carries it. It makes me sad. I would really love it! I’m going to see if I can order online instead. Thanks for the great non-alcohol recipe too.

Oh, my goodness, your Full Core mojito recipe looks fantastic! I am definitely going to try it myself! I think you bring up excellent points about some products promoted as being healthy not truly fitting into what I am looking for in that category. Full core seems like it meets and exceeds my standards. Thanks so much for sharing your story and your recipe!
