Have you seen the Shaun White Skateboards for kids at Walmart? #ShaunWhiteSupplyCo #CBias

We are always trying to find new ways to encourage happy healthy kids. Physical activity is a great way to do that! Teaching your kids fun ways to keep active not only helps them physically, but also their emotional well-being. I strive to make my boys healthy inside & out. Our oldest son has expressed interest in skateboarding so we thought we would test the waters while shopping at Walmart

I was surprised by how limited the skateboards for kids selection was both by the quantity & quality

We just about gave up. We walked past the bike/scooter area (where the other skateboards were) toward toys. When I spotted the Shaun White Supply Co Skateboards for kids display

Take a quick look at the skateboards in these pictures. What do you notice?

With a quick glance, I could tell instantly the board that was higher quality. With 3 boys, I know they are going to be rough so I always prefer quality and let them distress their own gear! I am not a professional when it comes to skateboards. However, I do consider Shaun White trustworthy as far as the topic goes. All 3 boys were mesmerized by the graphics since they were fun & colorful. We like that they are reminiscent of our Grateful Dead prints :) With the quality and style, I think $39.97 is an awesome price for something more durable. Check out the image below to see different styles. We went for the Thrash series, but there are more to choose from ranging from $59.97-69.97.

Dylan was ready to get started

He was hesitant at first. He would only use 1 foot.

Then, he made it kind of to two feet…

We decided to let his dad help him since he used to skateboard

With some coaching, we got him steady and confident
