Del Monte Fruit Cups for healthy back to school snacks: The “Five Fruit” Bar recipe #SmartSnack #CBias
With the return of school comes certain challenges such as maintaining healthy snacks combined with hectic schedules. We find ways to provide snack options that are both healthy and convenient by using Del Monte Fruit Cups. Del Monte Fruit Cups can be found in the Canned Fruit aisle at Walmart in varieties of the usual diced peaches or pears as well as several different Mixed Fruit kinds. I prefer the No Sugar added variety, which takes the sugar from 15 grams (g) to 5 g.
My boys LOVE fruit cups as they are, but they love what we can turn them into with minimal efforts. I love that there’s no cutting/peeling needed. This Fruit Bar contains a base of 5 different kinds of fruit (more depending on how you garnish) and tastes delicious!
