Donating Back to School Supplies to local Domestic Violence Intervention Center #BagItForward #Champion4Kids #CBias

Kindness is a re-occuring theme I want to instill in my three boys. We are always trying to find a new way to give back whether it be to spend time cleaning up a local park or donating to those less fortunate. Recently my family had the wonderful experience of participating in Champions for Kids Simple Service Project by providing people in need with school supplies. To see more about Champions for Kids and our Elmer’s Bag It Forward Shop click here Looking around sadly it isn’t that hard to find others who need our help so deciding isn’t the easiest task. We try on a regular basis to provide needed supplies to our schools. During a recent twitter party, Champions for Kids brought to my attention that But there’s always more you can do...

Who Needs Your Help? School Supplies shopping for those in need #bagitforward #Champions4Kids

Back to school costs seem to be getting bigger & bigger as the years go by. All those things can really add up. I tend to think about those in need at Christmas time during the season of giving, but there are other times of the year where I sometimes forget that someone could really use our generosity. My mom has always tried to keep me grounded even at those weakest moments reminding me that “someone always has it worse.” At times it might be hard to not dwell on our own issues, but doesn’t it feel good to help someone who needs it more?  I have casually glanced at the Champions for Kids Simple Service display box many times and checked out the website. About Champions for Kids Our vision is to change the culture. Ultimate success is when...

Feminine elegance with @Oasap’s peasant-style pleated dress #fashion #beauty

While my style has versatility to it, I don’t stray too far from the Bohemian look. It is comfortable and has a flow about it. Such as this dress… What drew me to the peasant-style pleated dress below is it combines my favorite style with a twist. It’s part bohemian part classic yet together makes for a wonderfully classic bohemian look. The dress crafted in chiffon, featuring sleeveless design, round neckline with flouncing panel detail, medium elasticated waistline, and long pleated design. The bottom of the dress is my favorite part. It’s pleated chiffon with an underlay of satin that is shorter than the chiffon. It adds a nice dimension without being too bare for casual daytime events. It is comfortable and flattering. To create...
