Let @Sears help you get ready for pool and grilling season #SummerWithSears #SearsPatio

Memorial Day marks the start of grilling season and more outdoor time with celebrations like graduation, Father’s Day, and just being able to enjoy all that Summer has to offer.

Our patio area could really use some love. It just looks a little blah especially with the dirt patch that won’t grow grass and rusted fire pit from our 2 year old regularly watering it.

I decided to do some online research to decide what to do about our outdoor decor dilemma. I checked out Sear’s online catalog to see what the current Sears trends were. Have you heard about the Shop Your Way reward program? It is a great way to get a little back {10 points for every dollar you spend} for future purchases. I signed up while I was at Sears website or to learn more find Shop Your Way on twitter.

Now that I have some ideas, we are off to the Mall to visit Sears to see what is in-store for our summer outdoor living. The Outdoor living display area is very inviting. I like the fresh simple elegance it offers.

While I enjoy the vibe that Sears outdoor living gives off, I had 2 complaints about our experience. 1) Many of the items we looked at were missing prices; 2) Aisles were often not accessible with shopping carts. Sears is not the only offender, but it surprises me when family friendly stores are not cart/stroller-friendly.

Ta da!

  10. It looks great! But yes, I am in complete agreement with you about stores that don’t give you enough space to go down an aisle when you have a cart or a stroller. I’ve actually left stores without buying anything because I couldn’t fit with my stroller.
