From Pin-worthy to Project Hop {week 1} #pinworthy2project

Welcome to the first week of “From Pin-worthy to Project! Pinterest has become the 3rd most popular social media site. Once you join in it is easy to see why! There are so many wonderful ideas and Pinterest is a good system to keep track for a later date.

With Summer quickly approaching, I am working on my plan to keep my kids entertained and happy.  I found Use Your Noodle on and pinned it!

Use Your Noodle  from

  • 6-15 Pool noodles (depending on which games you are creating) p.s. dollar tree has them for $1/each
  • duct tape (there are lots of colors & prints now!)
  • sturdy wrapping paper rolls cut into 2″ (or toilet paper rolls rolled up)
  • If doing target station: 2 (3/4 inch) dowel rods
Our noodles already were hollowed out, but if you get ones that are solid hollow them like this
Use 2 inch cardboard/paper roll to make a connector for rings
Pull other end of noodle to meet connector. Then, use duct tape to seal the ring

Repeat for your ideal game: we did 6 for ring toss & we will do 6 more for target station.

The boys were having so much fun using the imagination to create fun games with the rings that I haven’t finished the target station. I just gave them the rings and stepped back to see what happened.

What are you going to create?
